Jose was great at explaining things when i had questions. The convenience and promptness (getting my car in same day) is awesome. However, the 3 star rating is based on the estimate i got for the required repairs. I had a problem with the vehicle starting and also the AC blowing hot air. They evacuated the refrigerant and recharged it, and the inspection showed a bad starter motor and a bad oil pressure switch.. i also noticed a slight amount of oil pooling around the vvt solenoid, which their inspection apparently didn't catch. I would have expected that to be caught considering the price i paid for the inspection. Anyway, these are not difficult or costly repairs. A brand new starter can be anywhere from 60 dollars on the low end up to around 300 on the high end. Even if you assume 300 for the part, replacing it takes about 30 mins max for an experienced mechanic. I did it myself in under an hour with no experience. The oil pressure switch is about 20 dollars and can be replaced in about 15 minutes. The only part that even needs to be removed to access it is the oil filter. Their estimate to complete these repairs should have been around 400 with parts and labor cons

Fast, same-day estimate and repair for brakes and an Uber inspection. Fair market price with lifetime guarantee on pads, makes for a pretty great deal!

Thank you Midas team for getting my car in for a last minute issue when you guys were about to close. I very much appreciate this location as I know that many other auto shops can be sneaky. Jose C at the counter was very helpful, honest, patient and went above and beyond to calm down my worries for an engine light that turned on. I do highly recommend bringing your vehicle here for any service as I just found out today that they are a full service facility and not just a tire shop as I drive by this store everyday. Thank you very much
